Introduction to Northern Thailand

Northern Thailand is a region in Thailand’s northwestern part. It is bounded on the west by Myanmar, on the north and east by Laos, and on the east by the Mekong River. The region is notable for its hilly landscape, with Doi Inthanon at 2,565 meters (8,415 feet) being the highest peak.

Northern Thailand is a beautiful region known for its mountainous terrain, cultural attractions, and delicious cuisine. There are also a lot of cultural and historical sites in the region, including temples, museums, and traditional markets.
