Introduction to Nakhon Nayok Travel Guide

Nakhon Nayok is one of the provinces in Eastern Thailand. Neighboring provinces are Saraburi, Nakhon Ratchasima, Prachinburi, Chachoengsao, and Pathum Thani.

Originally known as Mueang Lablae, it was given the name ‘Nakhon Nayok’ in 1350 when it became a garrison town for the Ayutthaya kingdom, defending the kingdom’s eastern border. The province was once merged with Prachin Buri in 1943, but got re-established in 1946.

Nakhon Nayok is known for its soothing natural beauty, which includes waterfalls and parks, well-known historical monuments, a variety of mild adventure activities, and a wide range of delicious fruits.
